Meet the SafEnvirons, inc. Staff

Greg has been on staff at SafEnvirons, inc. since January 2005.  With decades of experience in the safety, health, and environmental field he has collaborated with clients across the United States to help create a place of employment free of known and recognized hazards and to ensure compliance with federal and state regulatory requirements.  Greg’s passion for people has afforded him the opportunity to train thousands of people on a wide range of regulatory and safety topics. His education includes a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management and an Associate of Applied Science in Computer Programming from Georgia Southwestern State University. Greg completed all requirements of the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) and obtained the Certified Safety Professional (CSP) credential in 2017.  The CSP credential is globally recognized as the leader in high-quality credentialing for safety, health, and environmental practitioners.

Greg previously worked in the agricultural chemical industry for IMC Global, IMC AgriBusiness, and Royster Clark. Greg has in the field experience as well as experience dealing with the regulatory community.  As a U.S. Department of Labor OSHA authorized trainer since 2000 Greg teaches both 10- and 30-hour General Industry classes.  He has completed continuing education classes covering hazwoper, emergency response, environmental site assessments, DOT hazardous materials, explosives, SCBA maintenance, portable gas detection, respirator fit testing, quantitative industrial hygiene, environmental regulations, DOT FMCSA regulations, powered industrial truck trainer, welding hazards, NFPA 70E, combustible dust, and GHS/hazard communication.  Greg is also a National Safety Council First Aid, CPR, BBP, and AED trainer.
