Our staff has hundreds of years of combined experience in laboratory, industrial, and compliance positions. Staff members include an Environmental Engineer, Chemical Engineer, Industrial Engineer, Certified Safety Professional, and a Chemist. Our staff has industrial experience in meeting regulatory retirements in a cost effective and efficient manner that minimizes the regulatory impact on your facility.
In addition to our staff, we have associates that bring expertise to projects on an as-needed basis, including Professional Engineers, Environmental Professionals, Certified Industrial Hygienists, and affiliate firms specializing in Audiometric Testing, Spill Response and Geotechnical Investigations. We can assemble a team of professionals to oversee any compliance need managed by our staff.
Jim has a B. S. in Chemistry with additional course work in biology, physics, and mathematics from Georgia Southwestern State University. He has extensive training in many areas including Industrial Hygiene, Hazard Communication, DOT Hazardous Materials Compliance, and Phase I Environmental Site Assessments.
Jim has an extensive background in the safety and environmental compliance fields including seventeen years experience with IMC, a major fertilizer and chemical corporation, and as a consultant since 1996.
Greg has been on staff at SafEnvirons, inc. since January 2005. With decades of experience in the safety, health, and environmental field he has collaborated with clients across the United States to help create a place of employment free of known and recognized hazards and to ensure compliance with federal and state regulatory requirements. Greg’s passion for people has afforded him the opportunity to train thousands of people on a wide range of regulatory and safety topics. His education includes a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management and an Associate of Applied Science in Computer Programming from Georgia Southwestern State University. Greg completed all requirements of the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) and obtained the Certified Safety Professional (CSP) credential in 2017. The CSP credential is globally recognized as the leader in high-quality credentialing for safety, health, and environmental practitioners.
David Orr is a Chemical Engineer with over 40 years of experience in chemical processes and manufacturing settings, mostly working as an environmental engineer.
David has experience and can provide services in the following environmental compliance, permitting and reporting areas:
- Title V, Synthetic Minor and Minor Source Air permit application preparation
- Compliance reviews prior to annual Title V certifications
- Air emission inventory development and emission calculation
Christopher Fraser, P.E., is an Environmental Engineer who joined SafEnvirons, inc. in June 2020. Christopher brings expertise in environmental compliance projects including the development of NPDES stormwater pollution prevention plans, SPCC plans, air emissions calculations and modeling utilizing Breeze® software, air permit applications, completing Tier II and TRI Reporting, RCRA hazardous waste regulations, and conducting environmental health and safety audits.
Justin is a safety specialist who joined SafEnvirons, inc. in September 2022. Justin has a B.S. in Kinesiology from Georgia Southern University and previously worked as an Environmental Health Specialist with the Georgia Department of Public Health for 14 years. Justin is a Registered Environmental Health Specialist (REHS) through the National Environmental Health Association. At SafEnvirons, inc. Justin is focused on providing OSHA compliance assistance and OSHA training.
Bob Stevens is a registered professional engineer in several states and has over 30 years of experience working with environmental regulations and compliance programs. His education includes a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan and Master of Science in Sanitary Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He is a Life member of the Georgia Water and Pollution Control Association. He also is a Diplomate with the American Academy of Environmental Engineers.
Cindi joined the staff at SafEnvirons, inc. in November 2023 as the Office Manager. Cindi works diligently to standardize the many processes within the company to improve communication, ensure operational performance, reduce costs, and promote overall quality work products. She manages the Department of Transportation Driver Qualification File (DQF) process for approximately 135 professional drivers across multiple clients to ensure compliance with DQF regulations. She is a point of contact for OSHA Recordkeeping requirements, including assisting all clients with documenting recordable incidents. Cindi is also responsible for clients that fall into certain industry sectors, the OSHA’s Injury Tracking App (ITA) Recordkeeping requirements. She also plays a vital role in assisting our clients with their chemical reporting requirements including Tier II management and submissions.
