Driver Qualification File Services

Driver File Management is time-consuming and requires constant attention. If carriers do not keep driver information up to date, they run the risk of allowing non-compliant drivers on the road. This DOT Driver File Management Program is designed to help carriers with compliance of the Department of Transportation regulations found in 49 CFR 391 and the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse. This program will allow carriers to focus on their core business and leave the worries of DOT driver file requirements to SafEnvirons, inc. We have partnered with industry leading software providers to assist carriers with their compliance efforts. Using the software and the expertise of SafEnvirons, inc., carriers who use this service can be assured they are following the required regulations.

  • DOT new hire kits that take the guess work out of hiring new drivers.  The kit will include the required application for employment as well as all other documents required for the driver file.
  • Carriers will be responsible for completing the information required for each driver and forwarding that information to SafEnvirons, inc.  We will maintain the driver file and prompt the carrier when items are about to expire.
  • Notices will be sent to the carrier 60 days and 30 days in advance of all items that require updating.  Examples are driver’s license expiration, annual review of driving history, annual certificate of violations, driver training requirements, etc.
  • Each carrier must maintain Drug / Alcohol Testing records. We will keep a copy of each test in the driver file as soon as these records are sent to SafEnvirons, inc.
