Originally published in 1973 under the authority of the Clean Water Act (CWA) the Oil Pollution Prevention regulation sets forth requirements for the prevention of, preparedness for, and response to oil discharges at specific non-transportation- related facilities. Facilities that store greater than 1,320-gallons of regulated products (petroleum, animal and vegetable fats and oils) must develop and implement an SPCC Plan. Many revisions have expanded the requirements which include a five-year review and employee training.

SPCC Plan related services include:

  • Determination of coverage – assessment of regulated products and handling
  • Written SPCC Plans including site drawings
  • SPCC Plan Employee Training
